Ok inspired by the other bike topic

List off the bikes you have owned since you started riding?

Kinda wierd sometimes to see different types a bikes people have owned at one point in thier life compared to what they ride now.

Myself it would be
83 Yhamha Virago 750
85 Suzuki GS 550 (this was a kick ass little bike)
96 Yhamha Vstar 1100 (think it was 96, was first year they came out)
00 Honda Shadow ACE 750 <-- current bike and almost paid off yay

'93 Yamaha Seca II
'00 Kawasaki Vulcan

The Vulcan got repo'd. I'm kinda glad. I never rode it. I basically gave the Seca away.

Took the Vulcan from Chas WV to Orlando FL and back in 6 days. It was pretty intense. Went through 2 hurricanes, near 1 tornado, ended up almost dying many many times. I got sick of riding after that.

For my 35th bday (6yrs from now) I may buy another bike of some sort. Depends on how many books I've publish. 1 book = no bike, 2 or more gives me an excuse to buy one.

I'm glad that we still have Tim's around. If this metrosexual b******t keeps up, who will I ask for tools while working on a vehicle?

Jasper?

My old man made me get rid of it, I sold it to a friend. The neighbors complained they were noisy, it burned oil and smoked. The cops would get called alot and everyone hated when me and my friends would all drive around together. Go karts, mini bikes, what a mess...we had alot of fun.

I don't ride street bikes, but I ride offroad.

1974 Honda MR 50. I loved this thing, I only took it off road once or twice, but man I cruised around the neighborhood like a little kid with a mission. I still have it, and it still runs. It's fun to take it for a spin every now and then. I've gotten offers of over $1000 for this bike. Razz

Honda 75cc(forget model). What a piece of shit. I had this bike for 3-4 years and was never able to take it out. My dad and I would work like mad to get it running, then drive out to the trails, and the bike didn't start. That really sucked as a kid.

1982 Honda XR100. Very clean, very reliable, I just outgrew it. I still have it, and it still runs.

1990 Honda XR 200. This is the bike I use now, and I love it. It's great for going on trails, which is all I do, and it'll climb just about everything my skill level can handle and more.

Because it has like 83 horsepower and costs like $1200 every 6k miles to get the valves adjusted =). Ducati's while nice and all, I figured I'd to with something that actually has some balls.

GSXR 1000 > any ducati made.

Although I may still get another ducati someday, but it will be one of those bikes that sits IN my house and hardly ever gets ridden.

1975 Honda XL250
1979 Honda XL500
1984 Honda 700 Nighthawk S
1985 Honda V65 Sabre

I loved the Dual purpose XL's. Being able to ride most any trail, or take on most offroad challenges, but still being able to legally drive down the roads between the trails is great.

The Nighthawk S was a blast to ride and the V65 was fun and fast, but didnt handle nearly as well.

Havent had a bike for 5 years now and I really miss it, but since what I would want now would be a new Harley I know I cant afford one. Especially since I would first have to spend 15-20K to build a new garage to store it in.
