I heard somewhere that there will be no hard requirement on food and water in the game is that true? We won't need to eat or drink or whatever? If that's true, I think this decision sucks. It's a survivalist game, for crying out loud, finding the means to survival should be half the fun!

Actually, in every MMO that had this feature, the players eventually grew bored of it, and it turned into a major annoyance. I think the "diplomatic" way of settling this is the right one, include food and water in the game so that those who want to RP sustenance are able to, but leave out any penalties so that those who don't are not forced to.
