I just pulled my frog out of the aquarium this morning, dead.
I am seriously puzzled as to what killed it. It exhibits all the signs of a fish that died of Ich infestation, but it's not a fish. Fishes that die from Ich die from suffocation because the damage to their gill tissue is extensive. But adult frogs have no gills. How can a frog die from Ich? It had the same white spots all over it's body, it's webbing was torn and it's eyes were clouded over.
Anyone have frogs and/or Ich problems? Assuming all your fish are dead, how can you cure Ich? I've been told that your tank will always be contaminated, but I don't know what can survive in liquid bleach (my tank is soaking in the tub as we speak) If bleach doesn't kill it, what does?

You might want to try the boards at http://www.aquariacentral.com
They definitely dispelled a lot of stupid things I thought I knew about aquariums and they have people there that are good at diagnosing things through message board descriptions hehe.

Curing ich is quite easy, just turn up the temp 5 degrees and the parasites will die. I've never heard of a frog getting it though. It actually sounds more like you got an ammonia spike in your tank, the fish would have turned white and bloated before dying.

sounds like a micro biotic infection and you didn't want to treat it trust em...
between the copper sulfate ya need to add,
the ungodly amounts of stress on the fish and the expense...not to mention trying to keep the nitrites in balance and all that other crap, unless you have some REALLY expensive fish, do yourself a favor and start over from scratch.
You can try quarrenteening the fish that are still alive and treating them, but most won't survive the treatment...
and you're gonna be investing about 6 weeks of DAILY heavy duty maintanence to the tank while you're at it....
good luck if that's what hit your tank.....
