and I thought Okami was a fantasy fan!
It's the fourth book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.
A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast For Crows <- this book
Next book, which apparently is the companion to this one (Stories on same timeline but geographically seperated) is called A Dance with Dragons.
Anyways, they are probably the best fantasy series out there, they blow away the WoT series IMO.

They are more like medevil fantasy than full out magical type stuff. But there is magic, and there are dragons and the like. They are very unique. Martin is a master of detail.

amazon lists it as july 26th 
yeah that's a great series and very unique. Magic and stuff is in it, but you never see like a wizard casting magic missle of doom and laying waste to an evil horde army that has come down to slay humanity lol. The politics in the books are very interesting.
One thing I find very interesting is how the author builds up lots of history with characters and then kills them off. It's actually very hard to single out who is a main character.
