Well, my mom finally was able to swing it and get me EQ2 for an early Christmas presant..
What I want to know from beta players is about Enchanters.. Has anybody played one, and if so how fun are they?

From grouping with them they seem to be having a blast. As a warlock I am happy they keep shit away from me.

I've always had a thing for pure casters... That's why I was thinking of going Shaman or Rogue.. I guess I'll just have to test em all

Enchanters are the only mage I'd consider palying at this point. Shaman are nice, they get rune!

Nope, the last fuckwad patch removed rune from druid/Cleric bases and just gave it to shamans. I think shaman lost some skills in return that became druid and or/cleric only. But you get the idea, they're trying to devide up the class skills.

Yeah, except it has a short duration. If the rune wears off without absorbing all the damage, it'll heal for the remaining amount.
Pretty cool, but I prefere clerics - reactive heals for the win.

Cast it on a tank before pulling, cast it on yourself before the inc mob gets there, it's a handy thing to have. Best of all no reigent cost!

didn't get chance to play beta.
what would be good three char combo to play?
(I'm planning on playing 3 chars)
Was thinking war, cleric, shaman or war, cleric, enchanter
Is it like eq1, where you basically need shaman to 'slow'?
Or Pulling/Mezz type of char to be able to fight anywhere?

Really any 3 would be good but I'd go
Fighter, Scout, Priest
Makes for some good HO's that do group HoT's and the Scout and Fighter can do some good dmg HO's together.
