The fact that Democrats and Republicans (and the rest of us) are all having our freedoms curtailed equally does not make it any less tragic.
Everything for you is a liberal vs. conservative issue. This is a simplistic worldview. It is one that is highly encouraged by the folks with power. It allows you to be manipulated more easily.

I believe the point was why didn't you post anything about it when the Democrats did it?
Regardless, I really could care less. People protest everything these days. If you want to protest an issue, fine, go ahead. I didn't have any problem with people protesting the war, except where they started blocking traffic across the Bay Bridge among other things.
However, this isn't a bunch of people protesting an issue. They're just protesting Republicans. It's just as lame as protesting Democrats.

I -do- agree the 'protest' areas are wrong, and in my understanding unconstitutional.
..but, it is the repubs who are removing constitutional rights, so I guess whats good for the goose is good.......

The LOSERS who want to demonstrate REFUSED to set up a bond that would cover any damage to the grass. So the city said, nope, you animals can't crush our new grass.
They get to be a******s on the pavement....
