Just looking over the playstation mag, god this is gonna own.
The 3 girls get 14 different outfits for the 14 different jobs, and some of them look totally badass.
i wish my scanner worked, but here is sum webcam crap rips, i'll try to find good copies
i did find a screenshot of rikku getting done in the ass by the invisible man though

I don't even care to know the continuation of the storyline, let alone the fact it's going to be a stand-alone RPG containing elements of the last one.
Listen: every FF was based on a new universe, only containing the sparse elements of overall FF-dom (chocobos, moogles, Cid, etc.). The exception from before was the FF movie, which sucked more ass than I can (or wish to) recall.
Not only is this a sequel, but it's a sequel to a game whose storyline (and characters) sucked f*****g ass.
The only (and I do mean the only) thing this game has is the class system. Every FF I've ever played that's class-based has been pretty spiffy to me, but I fear this is going to outright suck for three reasons:
1. Sequel
2. Principle
3. "girl power" angle
I'll martyr $5 to rent it, and then, I will know, I'll always miss that $5.

This holds true in almost all of them
FFX-2 is a new setting, tidus isnt even involved and he was the center point of the whole game.

They're not all even close to that general. You may have had archetypal seeming characters in, say, FFX, but nothing (sans overdrives, starting stats and where they start on the sphere chart) separated one character from another. It's just not that cut and dry in the later FFs (6-10, generally speaking). Any char can advance in any way, becoming as powerful as it can get if the time is alotted. So when you see a purely class-based Final Fantasy where you can't have your main character donning every skill, you have to think it *may* be good.
However, each of those 10 took place in a separate, unlinked world. Each one was a -FINAL- Fantasy, wherein you do what needs to be done to take that world to the status quo. Sure, you have archetypal characters, but those classes, too, have pretty much become a final fantasy standard. But the worst thing of it all is a single FF world is being used again, contradicting the series' name, let alone integrity.
If they want to label it Final Fantasy:Yuna's Angels--fine, for f**k's sake. To name it X-2 is tarnishing a series that only demands respect (for the most part).

Final fantisy was over after ff7, 8 blew goat balls, 9 was filled with too much sidequest crap, and X... X was horrible, except for the graphix, i'll give it that, the graphics were quite nice. I heard a rumor that they were gonna remake 7 with awesome graphix... but thats all the voices told me...

Best ones were 4, 7 and 9.
4 for the story
7 for the story/setting/play
9 for the revival of FF after the crap known as ff8. I liked how there were that many sidequests, didn't have to do them, but they were there. Plus it got back to the fantasy part of the game after they tried the human/school kid shit in 8.

The shots of Yuna holding a sword in Tidus stance and wielding Auron's sword is nice 
I like it.. it's a mix of FFX and FFT. And as I've said before... FFT was the best game ever.
