I installed the game the other game, but I just can't start it., Each time I try it gives me some error code and shuts down instantly. I found the updated version of the minimum system requirements, and my machine is well within the parameters. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

From that amount of info, it's impossible to tell. It could be any number of things. You might want to copy the text of that error message you're getting (and paste it over here).
Other than that, make sure that the drivers for your graphic card that you're using are up to date.
