Final Fantasy XI custom character apperances

Final Fantasy XI custom character appearances are not very much various, or is it just my wrong impression? I was hoping to find many variations among characters. But it didnt give me much to look forward to. I will be a part of this game soon, and I hope I am making a wrong conclusion here and I hope I will have a bigger choice then this.

I dont know what were you looking at, but there is nothing in this game that doesnt show the variety of possibilities that are put in front of you. It is all up to your creativity and you cant blame anybody else if you are not creative enough. You should take a look at my character and tell me then if you feel the same about character customization. It is true that they give you a raw look to start from, but everything else is the product of your work and creativity and there are many creative people out there I tell you.
