Final Fantasy XI: The Harvest Festival approaches

For those of us currently romping through the digital realms of Vana'diel in Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI (Xbox 360, PC), here's some very good news that should get you into the holiday spirit: the annual Harvest Festival is close at hand, with more content than you can shake a wand at. Sweet!

So, what's new with this year's Harvest Festival? While the game's official website didn't specify just what sort of new stuff they'll be spring on festival-goers, they did mention that besides the usual decorations and specialty shops, there's going to be new costumes available for your character to purchase and wear. Not to mention the townspeople themselves will be joining in the fun.

Definitely a great REPLACE for those of us who want to give tribute to a very special holiday. See you in Vana'diel when the Harvest Festival hits!
