I need some Final Fantasy XI Character Name Change help? First of all I want to know if something like this is possible in the middle of the game and second of all I want to know what do I need to do if I want to make this change? If you did this or know somebody who did it I would like to get a contact for that person.

You can't change the character name while playing the game. I know this because I was trying to do the same thing and I was not able to. I think that you have to buy a new account and then try to make all the necessary adjustments. I am still making my mind up if I am going to create a new account, but if I am serious in this business of changing character names I will have to do it. It is some extra money going out of my pocket, but it is either that or being stuck with this old name for the rest of my game life.
