So, I hear a character will be able to equip up to six guns at all times – a pair of rifles on his back, a pair of guns or melee weapons at his hips, and another pair of small guns in ankle holsters. Given that, what do you guys think would be the most effective combat gear setup for a typical character?

Eh… Maybe something that doesn't make him completely ridiculous? You know, "ridiculous" as in "not being armed to the teeth in a world that is supposedly thin on ammunition and high-tech weapons"?
Seriously, who the hell would need 6 guns on his person at once? You still have only 2 hands (barring some freaky mutations, true).
