We have 2 accounts and my friends probably won't be able to play with me much, since our hours are all different.
I'm thinking either 2 casters, a melee+healer, or uh... well I guess that's about it, since there are only 6 classes.

For PvP?
I'd go with a Mage and a Paladin... But if you play well, you can make any duo good really. This is just one I happen to like.

Too many pallies on the server already  And mages, ug. I can't play one past level 14 without falling asleep. I dislike having to root-n-run, turn around and nuke, even if it's on occasion.
But TWO mages! HMMMM

Don't let an overpopulation of Paladins compell you to nix the class entirely.
But my favorite duo team so far has been Paladin/Rogue.

If by "actually plays" you mean "someone who is able to log in for 25 minutes at a time, 3 times per week" then I AM YOUR MAN.

A druid duo's well with any other class, simply because it can fill every roll.
Druid / Rogue would make an awesome duo, because in PvP you could both stealth around ganking newbies. The druid can heal, buff and res and lay down some Moonfire spam to finish off runners.
