Always dark, bloody macabre, I loved spawn comics when I was younger, and still do today. The stories have gotten a bit darker as of late, but I still enjoy them. Everything from erupting out of a mass of rubble in the future in a post apocalyptic world with the "anti-pope" ruling the world to chasing down some disturbed criminal obsessed with killing children to bring him to justice. Spawn has always been one of my favorites.

At GenCon this year, I'm walking down the hallway to the CCG room for a tournament. I see this guy in a BADASS Iron Man costume. I see some guy around mid 20's walk up to him with a cell phone. He says
"Mom?"
"Hey.. tell dad I'm standing next to Iron Man"
