Nay. This isn't "best albums ever", it is "favorite albums ever". The albums that I can listen to over and over and over and that I still listen to today, because I like them that much.

Amen. |
Alice in chains and metallica are not worthless pop metal. I guess you can consider metallica's new shit worthless, but their old shit is kick ass.

I have a love for all music, even more so since I left my big hair metal days in high school.
If I had to recount the albums I remember listening to the most in my life it would be .....
Black Sabbath - We Sold Our Soul for Rock and Roll ( I have owned more copies of this than any other, all pre CD and the tape would wear out and break)
Janis Joplin - Greatest Hits
Skid Row - Slave to the Grind ( none of that 18 and life b******t )
Metallica - Any pre Black album ( I still have my very first copy of Master, called it my Bible for many years )
NIN - Pretty Hate Machine ( was givin to me by my first love and later mother of my child, I just cant listen to Somthing I can Never have, I always skip that song. I do however know every word to every song on the album )
Marilyn Manson - Scary Children ( some of the sickest shit I have ever heard at that time, I loved it )
... these are the albums that really stick in my mind. The ones I listened to the most from age 6 to around 20 or so. The ones that were part of the most important times in my life. Now I have mellowed out a bit and download a WIDE variety. I even have a little DMB and country on my MP3 player.
Oh and I have been listening to a lot of White stripes for the past year or so. Would say that they are the music of this time in my life.
