I am at the level where you free Val form a room just after you pass a few room filled with water...
She yell : come get some!..and then no matter how hard I search in the room nothing happen...

Looks like its a bug...only way to fix it is to use a cheat...how lame..
So I cant go on in this level unless I cheat to get to the next one so from what Ive read I miss a movie part.

It's fine now it's a common level bug, if it happens to you that Val wont move or that the mobs wonjt spawn in her room you must restart the whole level, it worked for me.
