Jessica Alba is nice eye Candy and all but dunno about her as an actress. =/
Michael Chiklis for the role as the Thing is great casting though...

Until the genre stops making box office money, they will. But the cast has to work. I could watch Spiderman movies forever as long as Tobey Maguire is in it. Talk about perfect casting.

The only characters that really matters are Mr. Fantastic and Doc. Doom. It's like the X-Men, who cares who plays Cyclops, it's all about Wolverine, Prof X and Magneto.
I have doubts that the movie will hit big, I've been a fan since the late 70's, my FF collection is full since #14 onward... But if I had been at Marvel, I would have done Cap or Avengers before doing FF.

You're right about that. Thank god Sam Raimi was able to convince the studio heads that Tobey Maguirre IS Peter Parker otherwise we'd have to endure Freddie Prinze Jr. in the role. =/
