Thats King of the Hill, Meal. Family guy is the one with the baby always planning to take over the world. The Simpsons is funnier in my opinion.

Family guy is stupid. I never got what people thought was so funny about that show.

Simpsons by far IMO. If you want to know who's funnier, well...

Family Guy....3 seasons and cancelled

The Simpsons...15 years and still going strong

the simpsons at this point may have lost it. it's not the same as it used to be.

are they still making family guy episodes?

dont get me wrong, the simpsons is the greatest show of all time. but if you're talking about currently, i cant be entirely sure.

the simpsons just have a mastery of sattirical humor. not to mention randomness which always makes for hilarity.

family guy is pretty funny though.

I love both, but i like family guy more, it has all these twisted humour things in it, that's why it can't appeal to ad many people as simpsons, simpsons owns though,

haha i remember when it first came out and no parents wanted their kids to watch it.

oh man, and on halloween episode III i think... when they were giving the warning before hand... hehe..

Quote:
Homer: Good Eeevening. I've been asked to tell you that the following show
is very scary, with stuff that might give your kids nightmares. You
see, there are some *crybabies* out there, religious types mostly,
who might be offended. If you are one of them, I advise you to turn
off your set now.

Homer dares us by flapping his arms and clucking like a chicken.
Someone from the television audience takes up Homer's dare, and the TV looks as though it went off. As we
all stare at a dot, Marge's footsteps enter from off-stage.

Marge: Homer, did you just call everyone "chicken''?
Homer: Noooo. I swear on this Bible!
Marge: That's not a Bible; that's a book of carpet samples!
Homer: Ooooh... Fuzzy.

The Simpsons for sure.

However, I thoroughly enjoy stealing Stuey's world domination plans.

family guy was funny when it first came out.. but when it came back it just didnt seem as good.

Older Simpsons were sick. It's a shame it just became slapstick comedy after awhile

Family Guy is pretty damn funny. I just bought the first two seasons DVDs a couple days ago. Simpsons are still good too though.

The Simpsons by far. When that show was "on", nothing on TV was funnier.

It's the little things, not the main plot, that make The Simpsons classic.

"Hi, I'm Troy Maclure. You may remember me from such films as 'The Greatest Story Ever Hulad' and 'They Came to Burgle Carnegie Hall.'"

Im a huge simpsons fan and its some of the funniest shit in the world, but it is losing its touch nowadays.

Family Guy is the funniest shit in the world, if you enjoy watching everything being taken literally, and complete randomness, this show is for you!

For example...
Judge: Peter Griffin i sentence you to 24 months in prison!
Lois: Oh No!
Meg: Oh No!
Brian: Oh No!
[The cool-aid man breaks through the wall]
Cool Aid Man: Oooohhhhhhh Yaaaaa!!!!!
[Then the cool aid man's facial expression changes]

.... great stuff!

Okay, i love both of these series.. but being a fan of insanity and total randomness (see also: Sealab 2021), I have to go with Family Guy.

Someone mentioned King of the Hill earlier, so I'm going to talk about that too! It's not necessarily a bad show.. just certain aspects of it are bad, such as Peggy, Bobby, Luanne(sp?), and all of Bobby's little moron friends. The best episodes of that show are the ones that include only Hank, his friends, his truck, and maybe Ladybird. If they cut out the rest of the characters and just left the show at that, it'd be an instant classic.

Another one I really like is Futurama. I was quite sadenned to hear that Fox discontinued it.

lol remember when he was on the simpsons?!

when he first walks into the house, bart is watching TV...

Quote:
Announcer: Coming up next, "The Flintstones" meet "The Jetsons".
Bart: Uh oh. I smell another cheap cartoon crossover.
Homer: Bart Simpson, meet Jay Sherman, the critic.

hahaha

the best thing about the simpsons is their ability to make fun of themselves, fox, and TV in general.

Clerks the cartoon series was pretty funny too!

I think one of the funniest Simpson moments I ever saw involved Lisa fantasizing.

It was kind of like this:

Judge: "I hereby sentence you to a life of hardship on monster island. Don't worry, it's just a figure of speech!"

Then it cuts to a picture of Lisa and some other people running from Godzilla like monsters, and Lisa shouts:

"I thought she said it was a figure of speech!"
Man: "It is! Monster Island is actually a peninsula!"

Or something like that. Wyatt, I was rolling! See it's funny because the figure of speech is that the island is actually a peninsula, but the monsters are real. The judge tells her not to worry, as if Lisa was worried that Monster Island was an island. Well, you had to be there.

lol silver that's a great one.

there are soooooo many.

i'll quote my favorite "mmmmmmm... _______"

Quote:
Screen shows homer from above, looking up to God.

Homer: God, if you really are God, you'll get me tickets to that game.
[doorbell rings]

Ned: Heidely-ho, neighbor. Wanna go to the game with me? I got two
tick --

Homer: [slams the door] Why do you mock me, O Lord?

Marge: Homer, that's not God. That's just a waffle that Bart tossed up
there.
[Marge scrapes it off into Homer's hands]

Homer: I know I shouldn't eat thee, but -- [bites] Mmmmmmm, sacrilicious.

The Critic was awesome. His boss and that crazy chain smoking lady were great in that series too. I didn't catch enough episodes of The Family Guy to get a good feeling for it, but I liked what I saw. King of the Hill is really good I think, I even like Bobby and Luanne. But you just can't beat the Simpsons with a big stick. My favorite - the episode when Homer eats a Guatamalan Insanity Pepper and has a huge trip, where Johnny Cash plays a coyote, Homer's Spirit Guide. The Halloween episodes are always top notch too. I always wanted a sound byte of the one that is a rip off of the Shining.

Homer: "No TV and no beer make Homer something something". Marge: "Go crazy?"
Homer: "Don't mind if I do! <insert crazy noises here>"
