Depends on how you take care of it. Saving lives is one thing, but wasting lives when other measures could have been taken is another. I dont need to go much more in dpeth in my agrument aka i voted for kerry.
Its just sad to see thoes guys pictures, knowing that they did not have to die, and that possibly some of them didnt want to die for this reason they just got "caught up in it". I'm willing to die at any moment to protect my country however It will be defending my land and my soil, not going overseas to fight terrorist that might not even be invovled in what happend at 9/11. Like what kerry has brought up numerous times, these battles going on are not chasing osama or his crew, they are focusing on a contingent of terrorist that may or may not be invovled. I have no question that these are bad guys however i'm not willing to risk my life in a matter like that knowing that i can contribute in many other ways besides gun battles.

I agree that there are a******s in the world the diffrence is that i'm not taking the immature stance of GI JOE good guyz vs the cobras point of view. Your not going to change 3500 years worth of views in 5 years worth of war and killing. Terrorism is an idea, a way of fighting back aginst a target that you cannot fight directly. Its not called terrorism when the guy your fighting is the same size as you. So you do honestly think that going around commiting our own form of terrorism on these people is going to squash hard feelings? Thats naive.
Did you see the post on the world vote? Do you think the rest of the world agrees with GWB? The really funny thing of it all is that GWB claims to be a friend of the christian right, but didnt the new testament say turn the other cheek not eye for an eye. You hurt us so now we're gonna hurt you ( or the people that you called friends anyways ) There are lots of other horrible things going on in the world that GWB is tottaly ignoring...... Howabout the genocide in africa going on RIGHT NOW under our noses? on that issue we're taking the approch that we took on the issue in IRAQ 10 years ago... give one side more weapons and see who wins. Well that stance got us were we are today... Jesus christ on a pogo stick talk about naive.

Not to mention the fact that any kid with a boxknife who hates america enough can cause 9/11.... Going after IRAQ to "stop the weapons of mass destruction" proves nothing. But i'm just talking to myself here, i know that i'm not going to change your views by this post. Thats why i want you to go to war to serve your country. The more people that enlist for this war and die off the less i have to deal with.

Don't you see the big picture?
Don't you think it's sad that women have ZERO rights in the middle east?
Don't you think it's sad that they're still living in the dark ages and are barbarians when viewed by the majority of the world?
Don't you think that the US would right all the wrongs if it could in one fell swoop?

It's not all about terrorism, as you put it. It's about a great many things. You sure are looking at this in a very narrow view to think the way you do. But I guess that comes with age, the whole big picture concept. When you, and many like you, stop being so anal and spoiled about life and the world, maybe you'll see a larger picture, and it won't be so selfish and pinpricked sized.
