Hmm, that's actually a good question. On one hand, lack of competition is positive for Fallen Earth - it's guaranteed to attract everyone even remotely interested in the post-app mojo, and if it does what its supposed to do, the crowds will flock to it. On the other hand, the lack of competition might cause them to grow lax and self-content. But consider this: If FE turns out to be a major success, how long until other games crop up copying it?!

What I mean is, in the MMO RPG genre, I don't think there are that many games which deal with the post-apocalyptic alternative future period, is there? They're 99 high fantasy or high science fiction, nothing really close to what FE is doing. Now, is this a good or a bad thing, the fact that FE doesn't really have much competition in its own game? Discuss.
