Do you expect all the factions in the game to be balanced out in relation to each other, in terms of general influence but also usefulness to player characters? There's what, six factions now? At the moment, they just don't sound equally useful I mean I'm sure there's great RP potential in playing a tree-hugging Vista, but how does that compare to being a Techie and getting all that cool stuff from your faction?

I'm sure it's one of the designers' primary concerns, seeing as how much this game is faction driven, the little hints seem to suggest that most of the overarching plot revolves around faction interaction. I'm sure there are significant advantages and hindrances to joining any faction, and the choice will ultimately depend on your preferred style of play.
