I thought this was a cool application on facebook, sorta gets everything out there. Whats your stand on: (excuse the awful spelling)
2008 Presidential Candidates: I could live with Obama, but I feel McCain works well with both parties and is the best choice.
Party: Democratic
Abortion: We should have choice, but once you've hit 3 months you've made your decision.
Affirmative Action: Was a problem before and isn't now. Racism definetly exists, but mostly when you look for i.
Alternative Fuels: We depend way too much on fuel and need to start working on finding an alternative asap.
Censorship: No stance.
Cuba: No stance.
Current Administration (Bush/Cheney): Mistakes will be made, but Bush & Cheney have taken things way too far in the retardation area.
Current Congress: Same as above.
Education: Abolish "No Child Left Behind". The entire year shouldn't be focused on a single test.
Electoral College: Should be kept.
Flag Burning: I think if you believe a country is corrupt and you want to show it, it's a way to show disrespect.
Foreign Policy: No stance.
Gay Rights: Should be allowed, there should be no difference depending on if you're gay or not.
Global Warming: Needs to be looked at ASAP. People need to start becoming aware of the effects that this has on our future generations, and the "It may not happen" BS needs to stop. The point is, it CAN happen, therefor we should be doing everything we can to prevent it.
Globalization: Would be great.
Gun Control: Get rid of them. That law was made a long time ago when soldiers were invading houses. We don't need it anymore and we need to do what we can to keep things like this out of the wrong hands.
Illegal Immigration: Need to be sent back and better watch kept around the barriers. We shouldn't be supporting illegal activities; it encourages them.
Marijuana Legalization: At least then we can tax it. But I think this is a bad idea, not only are there so many more important things that we have to worry about, but I feel there would be a huge drop in education/job areas.
Media Bias: The media is very controlling and is good at making people believe whatever it wishes.
Minimum Wage: Should be raised, as the prices of everyday stuff goes up (gas included) it's more important for wages to follow it. Even if it's only by 10 cents or so, we have to start somewhere.
Right to Die: Yes, I agree with this. You shouldn't have to wait to die if there is nothing doctors can do for you. You shouldn't have to die in pain, or live out your life paralyzed.
School Prayer: We already have a moment of silence for this. Keep it out of school in every other senses, and remove "under god" from the pledge for people who don't follow that religion.
Separation of Church and State: Yes.
Social Security: No stance.
Stem Cell Research: Weird, but should be allowed. If people want to do it, let them. It can help create a better life for people. If you don't believe in it, then don't do it; no one is forcing your hand.
Taxes: Should be raised, but we should see better improvement. We need to start getting out of debt.
The Constitution: No stance.
Unions: No stance.
United Nations: Isn't doing a very good job.
War in Iraq: We need to stay in. It was a stupid idea to join it in the first place, but we have more than just ourselves to think about now.
Welfare: Needs to be revised. There are so many people that have it that don't deserve it.
Wiretapping: Should be allowed under warrent and with good suspicion. (Not, "Oh hey, I wonder whos having late night ****-talks now, I'm bored -might as well listen in!")
