In comparisons of guilds....WTF does time zone have to do with anything? If X guild is west cost and Y guild is on east coast..you tellin me Y guild should wait for X guild to show up with force?
I've heard this time zone stuff till I could puke. Cry me a f****n river for pete's sake. Time zone.....pffft.

Karst are you as stupid as you appear?
Time zone means that because they get a raid force assembled earlier in teh day, some guilds get a clear shot at mobs without any competition or need to race. This means they get more unobstructed chances to attempt and learn mobs, and can farm them before the competition even logs on. If your guild does not have the ability to get a raid force together before 9:00 EST on most days, and there are other power guilds who are on earlier, odds are that you will never see certain mobs because they are always dead before you even log onto EQ.
Go read the FOH boards, you will see people in uber guilds who b***h about the advantage Euro/Asian guilds have of clearing mobs that spawn on server pop before the American guilds are even out of school/work.
Like I said, having a membership base in an earlier time zone confers advantages upon a guild that have absolutely nothing to do with relative skill or strength.

What Vek is saying is exactly right. The one shot we got at Emp he spawned at like 11pm PST, which is 3am EST. It was our first shot and we fuckin owned his ass! I'm really tired of all this BC > TA and TA > BC shit. You know that the majority of the people in those guilds don't give a flying f**k, it's the people on the outside looking in that usually starts that shit up. Grats TA on Aten!

f**k you all, its your f****n fault that you live in the dubmass areas of the united states and play a game meant for the most powerful potatoe farmers alive, sometimes the lives of our loved ones come in to play diminishing the advantages of not being in Black company(f*****s), I know alot of people in TA that wuold love to see all of BC DIE IRL or lose their bodies in the game. Death to you all because sometimes today is tomarrow so yesterday did not exist and your failed attempts at life reflect your gameplay thanks.

Bezerker like chill man and get off the drugs and grow up. Its a game. Saying shit like BC people should die is just wrong. Both guilds battle for spawns and some are won, some are lost and some are downright ugly battles but I let that go and give each TA member a fair chance in xp groups. I dont wish any ta members to die, if i dont like a person I just ignore them and suggest you do the same until you can figure out what your problem is.

The time zone problem is inherent and can't be avoided, just an issue that has to be dealt with. I leveled all my own characters up, only sold after I quit - in fact I leveled 1 monk to 60 and another to 64 and had over 125 days played as a monk. Trying to call me Ebay for training to Ssra? hahaha it's called laziness, most people going to Ssra raids just haul ass from the ML zone to Ssra zone and call train so people can get out of the way (and yes I always carried both an EB item and invis item, but hated wasting charges just to get to Ssra). Furthermore, even those who hated me in game would admit that I was a good monk - depending whom you asked anywhere from above average to great, but nobody denied I knew how to play the class.
I live on the east coast as you can see from my little info here where it says Jersey. If you have a brain it is not too hard to see that having the majority of your playerbase in EST or Euro gives you a large advantage in access to mobs. You may have the skill to kill a mob, but if you can never find it up you won't get a chance to prove it, and won't have access to the gear to strengthen your guild (i.e. the huge gap created when ED controlled NTOV and primal - took guilds a long time to catch up and close some of the gap)

There is a hk guild on fennin called zs (zenith sage) it sucks having to compete w/ them but we have a saying- the sun is up zs will flee~!
