FTN invites/accounts......READ before making a post

Well trackers do not have the same type of privacy policies.
Trackers only share IP info from users who steal account info,Hi-Jack accounts,sell accounts/invites.
Most traders accounts are canceled and that is the end of it. Users who repeatedly try to gain access,get banned,trade for invite,gain access,get banned, those fellows tend to end up being talked about tracker to tracker since a person who keeps trying to gain access,only to ge banned,is usually grabbing a pile of files to burn/resell.
Where I am concerned, I can really dislike someone,and they still have no worries. They can be banned for cursing,personal attacks and so on, and still have no worries.
I toe the line, plain and simple.

I've always agreed with this, It's not like the contents (to my understanding at this point) of the members of trackers (one's I've had experience with) paid more then their time to obtain their files or mod them. I also personally think being given access to a community where other members willingly share resources and hard to find items with you should be appreciated.... unless you somehow paid for it and put up high expectations because your own personal money became invloved... then I could understand the previous angry poster's (forgot his name) frustration... How ever... there is always a more excellent way to go about things.... and wasting your time with something your not happy with is not worth it... unless... it'll become what you want with time.... like girlfriends in some instances. But for the most part.... I think keeping a positive attitude has a much stronger influence to gain access to the things you want in life then to try to gain by negativity and disdain.
FTN is awesome, if torrentors get invite so easily then it's not a good site anymore,so let FTN always be the secret place everyone dreams to join in,although when that materilized,may find it not live up to their expectations

I've often wondered; what are people's expectations of FTN? And where does it fall short?

Because of some of the views of CG is why I joined this board knowing someone actually gives a sht about the security and safety of its members.

Due to the sheer volume of scams, if you have not been here at least a year, and no 1 year membership with 20 post crap, then your gone. not suspended, gone.
A.I disagree with trading, plain and simple.
B.I understand how some would get frustrated due to lack of contacts, language barriers, etc and would try to take a short cut. I still do not agree with it,
C.If a person has weathered a year here and is a person who is one of integrity, just has different views on what is ok and not ok per trackers, they can post.
FTN is a tracker. it is not a holy grail.
I enjoy the site and the staff, but the content is no different that GFT. Plain and simple.
So,set your mark based on your torrent needs, not your d**k-size meter.

I know the FTN is a very good, ratio free tracker but 2 things i don't know. I have 2 questions:
When started the site? and How do they give an invitation?

okay so how does it work?
What are the chances of getting an invite to FTN these days, anyway? I fully realize that the tracker in question does not offer anything above what other trackers already have, but what I'm after is the community. I am a bit wary of monster trackers such as TL, despite their speeds, I simply want a small friendly tracker with a good community of similar-minded people to chat with. And in that regard FTN seems like a decent choice.
I've tried offering TL/ScT/BIT-HDTV/HDBits invites, but it seems that everyone is too scared to deal with strangers...

Ignis,can you help me with an SCT invite, im like in your case ive been serching a SCT invite for months and no one has helped me,i hope the the fact that you are in a case similar to mine lead you to help me.
