Given that the game has been out roughly 1 year in Japan, the launch seems pretty darn smooth so far. Play online registration no problems, credit card validation no probs as well, patching and logging on, no problems either. What are your experiences?

i think its smooth for 99.9 percent of people.. minus a few complaints about patch times even vn boards dont have much on um complainin.

Installation was a b***h. I had problems reading from cd 2 and it took me about 1 hour to get passed it, including requesting files from zuldane.

Can someone please tell me how to remap the controls? man they suck some major ass. Been looking all over can't find it. Only found Action and command menus =/
Do I remap In game or out of game?

it's done out of the game. Programs->play online->FFXI config i think.

dude i had the exact same shit happen at CD2, how did u fix the problem? Mine got stuck at 40.DAT file or some shit

i fixed the problem by installing POV, NOT updating it, installing the game and then getting the updates
|
