here.. in case you haven't seen the trailers.. go fish around in here.. the site is funky and it tends to redirect you randomly but if you're DLing it you're looking for a file with "AC" in it.
Anyways it's all in here.. somewhere.

I can definitely see the Bahamut battle as being the climax of the movie, and it looks to be incredible. Personally, tho I'm quite anxious to check out the duel between Tifa and Loz as well. Tifa's always been my favorite character from that cast, and a source of intrigue, it will be fun to see how they bring her to life.

Oh hell yeah - that small portion we saw in the trailer made me drool even though Tifa is one of my least fave characters in FFVII (Sorry Nah).

Oh that's ok.. haha.. I can see why people don't like her, there are plenty of reasons why she falls short in the game.
In the movie tho, she kicks an entirely large amount of ass, and I think that much everyone agrees on which is good.

So is this basically FF7 in movie form? Are they going to stick to the plot and add more stuff, etc? Can we expect Jenova, Aerith getting owned, etc?

Not at all. It's the story of what happened two years after the events in FFVII.

No official theatrical release is planned, although Square Enix has hinted at the possibility of one-off promotional events in major markets. We'll keep you posted.
Oh, and the 2-disc DVD will feature some trailers, bonus features, and behind-the-scenes stuff, but not that cool 'Last Order' anime short that's included in the ridiculously expensive $300 Japanese limited edition. Sucks to be us!

"Some sites are reporting that Advent Children's US release date has been pushed back to November. Please note that these are rumors only at this time. Recently when contacting Square-Enix about the release date, we were told that an exact US release date was never announced, but a plan for a release in the same time period, which appears to slightly contradict information released at E3. We will keep you updated of any further official word regarding this.

For those who are unaware, 1UP.com has reported that the release date has been pushed back to November, but have not given a reason for such, nor stated any official word from Square-Enix. Interestingly they do mention a Limited Edition [does not contain Last Order] also. This report by them has caused the influx of questions about such to appear on the forums." |
