Holy shit, that's seventeen cents for every US citizen. I saw a quarter on the ground the other day and didn't bother to pick it up - now I wish I'd picked it up and sent it to them. That could have more than doubled my contribution.
It does make me feel a lot better about all the murder and torture though.
