Everquest or Everquest 2 ?

If I never played a computer game before and I would like to begin playing computer games with Everquest, do I need to play Everquest one, before I start playing Everquest 2? I want to start my online games life like this I am just puzzled if I should choose one before two. Everquest or Everquest 2 ?

There is no need to play everquest, before you start playing everquest II. I was thinking the same, but unlike you this was not my first game. If you compare these two games you will see more differences then similarities. That is one thing that you should consider before you start. The result of your consideration should be that there is no problem when playing everquest 2 even if you dont know the first thing about everquest one. I am sure you will find this game no more difficult then will people who played the first edition. Have fun while it lasts.
