How many regular posters here are going to try EQ2?
The reason I ask is because, mostly what we talk about here is political stuff, not that I mind, I like flamewars.
However, I remember back on Abiworld when everyone played EQ on pretty much a daily basis, and we posted about it regularly. ( I miss those flamewars too) There wasn't a seperate forum for it, but I don't think we needed because it was pretty much general discussion. There were more regular posters and plenty to talk about, EQ, politics, and videos of guys nosediving 100ft into the ground.
Nothing against Realpoor, I love Realpoor. It's pretty much the only message board I post on.
So I wonder, will EQ2 make Realpoor what Abiworld use to be? I guess basically what I'm saying is I miss the EQ drama of Abiworld would like to see it again in RP.

Totally agree Veng.
The drama here is getting weaker as the player loss from EQ grows at an ever growing rate. Not to mention the high end guilds are actuall *gasp* co-operating on things like ortations in Time and the like.
I mean really what the f**k are they thinking.
WTB Drama in large quantities.

After spending some serious time in WoW beta, I'll be skipping that and going to EQ2 (unless they s***w that up). Been playing CoH the last month or so to tide me over till something better comes along.

I agree. It used to be that if someone rolled someone else at Trak or ToV, we got 118 posts within a day.
Do people even roll each other anymore?

Skipping EQ2 and CoH, waiting on WoW. And im sure the old drama you all crave will return once everyone is back on an even playing field. Most of the drama that you saw was people fighting for the same content, the the division grew from expansions the fighting dipped alot.
Case in point:
Even playing grounds in the form of a fresh new game and new server will give rise to the drama you seek. Go forth and kill zombies with this 2x4 with a nail stuck in it. THx!

They learned to be civilized with each other. My example of this was the fact that their has been a rotation in PoTime for quite some time now. I know that PoTime is not considered The High End anymore, but it is still High End.

Furthermore, whether Tex was right depends on what you consider a high end guild. While the guilds getting into Time today are certainly not at the level of FoH, AL, TR, etc- an average server only has 4-6 guilds out of dozens in Time anyway. So if you consider 'high end' the top 10%, he'd be wrong, but if you consider it the top 1%, he's be right.
Either way, what exactly are you all arguing about?
