Gradius V , just came out this week
There's a Score Attack option in the game that gives you 3 lives to last as long as you can, after your 3 lives you are given a password to enter at Konami's site and that uploads your score.

i made top 5 (i was fifth) on rekkatsurvat (3d truck dismount) but thats cleared monthly so i don't know how i would stand overall

I was Ranked #1 for SSX 3 in a few stages before I got bored. I'm only like #20-#30 ranked in US for my Initial D Time attack scores =/

I forget the exact rank as it's been 6 yrs but I was one of the best Rocket Arena 2 players in the world (at least off of stat tracking servers)
