Since your problem started to manifest just after you have changed your internet service provider, I am almost 100% positive that your problem solution lies in port forwarding. go to portforward.com and follow the instructions for your specific dsl router. You need to open ports that EQ2 is using. The complete forwarding guide for every router device you can find at the site I have mentioned.

Last week I have changed my interenet connection from cable to adsl. I am very satisfied with the overall speed (it is faster than the cable I have previously had) but Everquest won’t connect any more. Do you know what is the right solution for this problem? I have contacted the adsl support but the poor Indian guy couldn’t help me with his Tarzan English.
