In early 2006 after the NGE, allegedly hacked numbers purported to show that only 10,363 subscribers were playing on a particular Friday night, the President of Sony Online Entertainment, denied that subscriptions had fallen this low. He said that concurrent numbers have also gone down. That is problem of gaming market, not problem of Sony Online Entertainment. After short period of time I heard that there are 175,000 players online in this game. The game is not dead.
