I've heard about EO from a colleague at work and I became interested in an instant. Since I bought my PC recently, I'm pretty sure that it satisfies the system requirements needed but the thing I'm worried about is that I'm still using a dial-up internet connection. Would this be a problem? I will be getting DSL some time soon but I'm not sure exactly when and I'd like to start playing now. Does anyone have some info on this?

Eve Online is basically designed for dial-up connection so you don't need to worry. Getting a DSL will definitely improve your gaming but you'll be able to play without it. You're probably wondering about internet latency and how EVE is handling it. Most of the game systems are designed in a way that minimizes network traffic and the effects of lag. And that's why EVE isn’t that affected by Internet latency.
