Hi all! Im about to open an account in EVE Online but Im really afraid of starting the game since I dont really know a lot about it. Would you be so kind as to recommend me some good place to learn the basics, like some kind of a newbie guide or something? Thanks a lot!

Have you tried a google search? I mean, EVE is a really popular game so there must be a lot of guides available online. As far as Im concerned, all the things you need can be found on the official site: www.eve-online.com including a really nice faq so try it.
