I’m new to EVE and I was just thinking how it is kind of dull if I have to gain all the money I need by simple mining – don’t you? Doing quests also brings in some cash but not as much as I expected. Do you think I could get some more money by being a kind of a bounty hunter – there are a lot of NPC bad guys such as pirates and smugglers in the game, aren’t there? What do I need to become a bounty hunter? Do I just simply go and catch some smuggler or what?

You can start bounty hunting right after you’ve finished the tutorial. You just need to buy a good weapon and a lot of good ammo before you start. The best place for you to start bounty hunting is in 0.8 security space. There is a sector with lots of asteroid belts. The pirates you’ll find patrolling the belts are pretty weak and usually travel alone. Just make sure you have the autoscanner open while you’re doing this. And take a good care not to target some innocent NPC ship. This way you may earn more money then by mining, but it’s a lot riskier too. A low level pirate is worth up to 1500 ISK and carries goods that are usually two times more than that.

i play eve. have two characters, get support from gkplayer.
have only been playing for a month or so,
but still manage to pvp and get in on the big fleet action. i'm in

a large corp and so there's always something to

do.

That works in the early stages but you quickly

get to a point where none of the skills you

want take less than a couple of days at best to

train.

eve fitting tool is also handy, so you can see

what you can fly/fit

Exploration= ISK Smile
and GKPlayer team can support.

But A profesion which = isk+fun with reasonable

time input Exploration with a friend is great

And if you got to play with other people to get stuff done.

Post your game name here and we can figure out some group

activities to get up to.

i would say running missions would be your best bet. get your standings up and in no time u'll be able to run some lvl4 missions. The great thing about doing missions is also getting loyalty points and then using those points to claim blueprints for faction items which u can sell for a HUGE profit. this cycle is a rinse and repeat and is kind of motonous but it gets the job done.

IMO, best way to start making real ISK is to get to 0.0 as soon as possible, meaning, as soon as you're able to pop 0.0 NPC spawns... just go.... and never look back.
