I haven’t been reading a lot before I started playing EVE and now I know next to nothing when it comes to history of this world. Since I’m playing a Minmatar, I would like to know a bit on the Minmatar Republic. Is anyone here familiar with it’s history? Thanks in advance for any info!

The forming of the Minmatar Republic occurred about a century ago. The Matari made a rebellion against the Amarrians with a little help of the Gallente Federation. These two states are still allies. There are still a lot of the Matari who are not living in the state – in fact only a quarter of the Matari lives there. Others are scattered all over the EVE world and some are still slaves of the Amarr.
