Is there a way to calculate the damage some weapon produces? I mean, not by using pen and paper of course. And not just the simple damage, I think that without calculating the resistance in, it doesn’t have much sense. Is there some kind of tool perhaps? I suppose that a simple Excel sheet could be OK. Thanks a lot in advance!

There is such a tool – and not just one, and it/they can be found somewhere on the http://myeve.eve-online.com. Try the search tool there, it’s nice and unlike many searches will find exactly what you’re looking for. The newer versions of this kind of tool also have resistance calculated. But the downside is that it can calculate only one weapon at the time so you can’t make combinations. Anyway, I heard that it’s really good and makes your playing much easier.
