What race would you select in Eve Online? I must ask this question, because I am a new player to MMORPG gaming scene, so I do not know too much about it. I want to play Eve Online, because I think this is great game, and I just love all that space thing. The selection is just too hard for me, and I need help. I am hoping that somebody is going to help me. I do not what to do.

If you are new to MMORPG, than your choice of race will be very difficult. It is very hard to tell to someone what race to select, because it must be personal choice. We can tell you which race to choose, but it might not be good for you. You must choose for yourself. The thing you must do is to research all the races in Eve Online, and to learn what the good and bad sides to them are. Then you could select one of them more easily. After that, we can help you and guide you through the game. Just choose for yourself. It is much better solution.

Caldari, Achura Monks have the best balanced stats with the lowest charisma.

Commonly accepted stereotypes for selecting an Eve-online race:
Gallente: Good armor tanks, slower ships, better snipers and drone ships. Long term, one of the best pvp classes.
Minmitar: Speed, speed and more speed. Fast, quick, hard hitting ships are the flavor of the month and Minnies do it best.
Caldari: Best pve ships. Good shield tanking ships, both active and passive. Science and trading alts are almost always Caldari.
Amar: Don't bother right now. They tend to be good all over characters and have decent ships, but unless you are going to be really hardcore and min/max this race, don't bother.
My two cents from playing the game for 2+ years.

All races are good in pvp just your got to play each one Difrently. Cald go EMC warfare. U can lock down 5 targets and make them do nothing. Minmatar are great nano ships loved by pirates. Gale are great drone hores. Will tear through anything with their drones and have good weapons too. Amarr are favored for dreads because you never have to pay for amo. Its just geting the crystals and than you are good tell your ship blows up.
