Hi all! I'm new to EVE and I must say I really love it so far. Anyway, there are still many things about this game that I don't know about. One of these things are graduation certificates. I have no idea what they are for. Do they have some use at all? I hope this question isn't stupid

They are definitely not useless and your question isn't stupid BTW. The graduation certificates unlock the core storyline for each faction which is really important. It also provides you with additional starting money and raises your standings with the faction. I think it also gets you an implant that you may use or sell.
