I’m an EVE newbie and I’m not sure about the usage of drones. Could anyone here be so kind as to explain me some basic differences between combat drones and fighter drones? Can I allow someone else to control my drones and how can I do it? Thanks a lot in advance!

One of the good things about the fighter drones is that they don’t have to be close to their source like combat drones do – they only have to be in the same solar system. Therefor they can be sent to go after a target until they distroy it while combat drones have to stay within sight from it’s source.
