I like your response. It doesn't say anything, yet it says everything.

what a stupid question.
1. EQ2 sucks
2. www.google.com for computer questions
3. you prolly want a PC since i doubt it will come out on mac or linux. And you prolly dont want to get the slowest one you can find.
Also because I hate you i am going to recomend you buy a dell. www.dell.com

computers are really simply
basically they are very linear, its not like there are alot of different types, they all pretty much run the same shit, so your computer either sucks, kinda sucks, or is decent, basically this can be determined by how much you payed for it.

This should do you fine. You won't be able to play EQ2 with ALL the effects and goodies turned on but then again most people won't. EQ2 is being designed for the future so there are very few machines that can handle the full speed of it now. The above WILL let you play the game and enjoy it though.

so basically....
I have a
2.0 gig AMD Athelon
1.0 gig of ram
ATI Radeon 9200 128mb
so I wont be able to play EQ2?
and in other words, if you want to play EQ you have to buy a $1500 + computer?

this translates into 'though EQ2 graphics will be good they wont be all that good, but since we at sony have the proven inability to make a stable engine that runs well, we will be telling you that EQ2 is just being made for the future, this is in fact a lie, we simply suck at making games not laggy and crash alot so despite the fact taht Eq2 SHOULD run on your system it wont and we ask you to believe that this is infact because we are making it for the future though its painfully obvious to anyone with a brain that this is not true. Thank you, We will enjoy raping you in the ass a second time'

Naa, just upgrade the video card to atleast a ATi 9600pro or Geforce FX5700ultra at min. Prices on the 9800 and fx59xx series are beginning to drop tho with the release of the ATi x800 and Geforce 6800 chipsets. I'd look around and try and pick up a ATi 9800pro if possible, since it out performs the Fx59xx in DirectX9 shader performance and EQ2 is going to be pretty dependant on those shaders. You probably have next to no idea what I'm talking about but upgrade your video card to a 9800pro and you'll be fine!
Other then that, EQ2 "should" be playable with atleast medium settings with those comp specs. It'll play ok but look like horseshit.
