Learn how to play the auction house. You can make tons of money buying epic items that are cheap and reselling them.

Ok you want to go to Curse.com and get the add-on Actioneer. It will teach you how to find bargins and make great money. I turned 100g once into 300g just by it telling me what best to buy and sell back. I suggest that or go on a Herb/mining farming spree. I only got mining and my reg flying and i get like 100-200g per hour if im having a good day.

Either do all the dailies which should take you about 2 weeks I think to get 5k(correct me if I am wrong) or play the auction house like others have suggested.

seriously though, the hard part about farming the money for your epic flyer isnt so much about getting the money as not spending it until you have the full 5k. You start getting that 3k gold sitting around in your bags and it's pretty tempting to buy crap off the AH.
I made a bank alt and sent all the money i had save 100 gold to it so that i wouldnt spend it.

Dailies do make it easier.. ~250g per day = 1k g per 4 days = 5k g in 20 days. So if 20 days is too long to wait for your epic flyer, play the AH. >.>

At this point if you can get consistant with dailies you will do ok. I managed to get my epic flyer when primal waters were worth a lot of money and skettis was pretty much abandoned.
Dailies and working the AH (raw materials like ore etc) work best.

What I do is Quel'thalas + Skettis Dailies, Then farm primals for Primal might and transmute it, I make around 300g+ each day and If the Transmutation proc pulls off I get an extra 130g for each extra primal might.

I found selling primals and primal mights the easiest. I was an engineer and my friend was a transmute alchemist, so I could easily farm the primals with the mote extractor and sell the might for 125g+.

i got mine doing the BEM dailies, then flying to skettis for those and staying there to farm the ragers. if you can herb them you get 4-7 herbs and up to 5 motes of life each. i turned mine into spellthread and sold it,but you could just sell the primals. you also get tons of dreaming glory and felweed. if you suck down the mana pots like i do it helps a ton.

Farm Primals. It is the best way hands down, and you might get lucky and get an epic drop that will cut your time down.

The best way i found to make money was by just doing dailies, i have gotten 3 epic mounts on different characters on top of the 18k gold i have.

In all seriousness, after reading the RP article on gold farming, I'm considering buying the gold for an epic flyer for this hunter I just bought.
I was thinking about using IGE, but didn't know if they were safe or if my account would get banned. (I'd do an in game trade obviously)
Has anyone used them recently, or does anyone have any good stories from other companies?

Once your 70 do all the quest you can you can make bank this way get mining to 375 and enchanting to 375 so now when you are questing making easy money you can pick up ore from mines and DE Items and sell the stacks on the AH. Another good one is doing dailies now that the cap is 25 dailies a day i am able to make like 400g from the dailies. They are very useful utilize it.

Your first move should be to make a bank alt and send all your money to them so you don't end up spending it on random stuff.

Daily quests for sure.
2-3 hours work for 250-300 gold.
About 1 month's work and the epic is yours.

Play the Auction House, pick up Mining, farm Primals, and do the new dailies. So much money can be made with a little effort nowadays.

Go into mining and do the Quel'Danas dailies everyday. Mining on my server is a very good source for gold and the dailies provide you a certain amount of gold everyday for sure. Also get the gatherer and auctioneer addons to make these jobs just totally easy.

Take advantage of your professions and do dailies. Through mining you can purchase ore, prospect it, resell gems and make tons of money. Dailies will not only give you rep for assorted items and mounts, but its a constant income. With the cap lifted to 25 and the ease of Isle of Quel'Danas quests you can easily pull in 200g from the turns in alone.

I just bought my epic mount all thanks to those new dailies. I didn't sell much on the AH.
Also, the dailies give you greens(from the shattered sun bags). DE those greens and then sell the large pris's and greater planars.
With the arcane dust make arcanoweave bracers. This is nice if you have a tailor or friend to make them for you. This takes alot of cloth so save ur cloth. Then take the arcanoweave bracers and DE them into Large pris and you generally make proffit.

man just do ALL your daily quests everyday sell all greens you get and if u have a gathering prof sell all u get and in 1-2 months depending on repairs and how much u put out on raiding you will have it
