It's no secret that WoW/EQ2 have taken their toll on our server. From Time-level to Anguish-level guilds, the effects of a diminished playerbase can be felt. Fortunately, there is still a capable (and willing) guild looking to advance though Anguish and farm it dry until the next expansion. That guild is Enlightened Dark.
If you stilll enjoy raiding high-end content in EQ, can commit to playing 4-6 nights per week and still have a good attitude about EQ, ED might just be looking for you as a recruit. For more information, email officers@enlighteneddark.org with your pertinent info (normal playtimes, guild history, Magelo, AAs and character name). Currently, our largest needs are Cleric, Bard and Rogue, but considering other classes as well.

In your dreams Brash, grin. It's actually fun building. I love being with new people who do trials with a few of us in off time and they win the roll on something nice for their efforts. Not all of us are jaded and either ED or EQ haters like you.
PS I like Zerkers and SKs and BL...can we have more of them pls Yak?? More clerics = more feeds :/ Just kidding, some of my best friends are cleric...I think...

Man, ED must be in deep noraidattendance shit when you openly recruit on Realpoor. If you are looking for Realpoor for recruits than you might be just as well close shop and raise a white flag. Looking for the most common denominator is not always a good thing.
I would take the high road out, close shop and accept that EQ is dead instead of recruiting from the cesspool of Tarew Marr. Even NetCraft has confirmed it.

As rude as it may be to say, I firmly believe that those who put forth such efforts to trash ED are merely jealous or ED rejects, and therefore not a lot of stock can be put into their words.
Furthermore, if ED decides to recruit, so what? About 80% of the guilds on the server have mass-recruited, backflagging for seemingly endless amounts of time and taking anything they can get. I find that far more "white-flag raising" than posting a recruitment notice. ED has yet to lower their standards of excellence, and as much as you haters would love to see it happen? Sorry. Find another way of amusing yourselves, because you might as well wait for hell to freeze over. That'll happen sooner.

Most people sucked. Alu was good, so was Guuar. Nahoo could be good but he got 700 tells per second so it was hard for him to hit the /pet attack hotkey.

i think i am going to start taking real money bets on what order the guilds will fall and what guild will be left over to absorb them all and then , how long till it falls too ...
I doubt even the leaders of the main guilds really want to play anymore . you can replace members but if all the officers leave the guild is done.
