Have you been affected by this expansion? I was kind of upset that it didnt change anything for me just like another minor patch.

The biggest change is the factional warfare. You can join the militia of a race and go to war.

That's the thing... They're trying to please as many people as possible...
There's plenty of people who like EVE just the way it is, then there's others who feel that they would like more PvP going on - and they got it. Now though, there's an actual war you can see being won, battle by battle, rather than what just seemed to be battles for nothing before...

Yeah I've got to say that the idea of a large scale war in which players are involved that actually changes the worlds borders etc is pretty awesome. Glad they made it optional though as the previous posts states a lot of people like it the way it is and its hard to blame em. But this war is yet another step away from the typical MMO.
