it's practically the whole concept behind it. In the story, a man leads a revolution to overthrow the entity people have come to accept as God. Only that this god is weak, he is an old scared man who has been stripped of his power and imprisoned by his general, who rules in his stead. Heaven is basically corrupt.
The man who leads the war on heaven by uniting different creatures from different realsm intends to build the Republic of Heaven on the ashes of the old Heaven.
Simplistic, but that's the basic gist of it.
