EVE Online is deadly boring 90% of the time and the rest 10% I have no power to even try to play it. I think that this is definitely not a game for me and I should do something about this. If I am not able to play it anymore, I should try to play some other game, but something that has nothing to do with this one.

If you really feel like this and you are not exaggerating not even a little bit, then you should be thinking about some other game. This is what I did when I was feeling the exact same way about lord of the rings online. After that game I started playing this one and I never had some great expectations to be honest, but after some time I realized that this is the right game for me. Looking back at this I am thinking that lord of the rings online might be the right game for you. You should try it if you are really thinking about some other game.

I tend to agree with the OP on this one. EvE is deathly boring more than it's exciting, but when it's exciting, it's the best damn game i've ever played. I've yet to find a game that has implemented a PvP system thats anywhere near as fun as EvE.

lol EVE isnt boring if you do 0.0 pvp. The characters that I am currently trying to sell did 23/7 0.0 pvp killage. Depending on your reputation as a pvper people will give you an honorable fight (depending on what region) but it seems nowadays all you do is fight 30 man gangs with 9k m/s ships

It's all about chosing the right corp for your gameplay. Of course eve is a full loot (sort of) pvp game so you cannot expect to be pvping all the time, especially if you die alot.

I have to agree though it's easy to become impatient in EVE,
After 4 years with EVE, only my lack of availible playtime at the time makes me struggle playing and makes it less interesting. Gotta have the time and patience...
