ive read this and many other renditions of overviews done by various folks who went. I see alot of convinience fixes and not alot of meat in the way of fixing classes.
Funnier still is shit like this:
"- Raid messages of the day "
"- Note field on raid window "
"- Make charms not no-drop "
"- Guild and individual rewards for guild beta testing "
"- Work on large To Do list....I know this one is a little random "
Taking higher precedance over shit like this:
"- Plane of Time instancing and other issues"
"- Back flaggings solutions to help with High-end guild atrophy "
"- Solo LDoN-stype instances or similar content "
It seems like everyone thinks SoE actually cares about our concerns but to me this lil checklist screams:
"Haha! We have sucessfully stroked thier c***s and behold the enraged mob of players are heading back to the sugarcane fields! Thier anger is satiated! Hip-hip Hooray!"
wtg sony =/

The guild flag thing would be very nice since if a guild has a large base of players leave and they are in the elemental planes it pretty much means the guild is dead unless they want to go through the months of backflagging for a new group of players.

You did not read it correctly. Those bottom three things you noted were listed under "Future items we will immediately begin looking at and discussions are as follows: "
I'm guessing it won't take very long to add a MOTD to the raid.
I'm guessing its going to take a tad longer to develop and balance solo LDON, or a backflagging solution.
Remember this summit came about because SoE pushed out their expansion too quickly. I do not think the players would appericiate if major improvements to the game were rushed out.

At least they are starting to admit flaws rather than saying f**k you and like it like they usually do.

still, it looks to me like nothing really productive happened. The summit was called to fix problems, the reason GoD was held back. But instead, they got an uberguild wishlist.
As for class balance, here:
| Quote: | I have been given some information about the class lists. At this time, issues on the lists that are broken will be addressed first along with issues from the summit and from the general issues list. All “wish” list addition type things or alterations to existing abilities, spells, etc., that are currently working but you stated you would like to have changed are not being discarded; these issues will be reviewed and possibly addressed if feasible later. Unfortunately I do not have a date for what “later” is right now. We will let you know as issues that are broken are addressed, most likely as they are implemented or scheduled to go on Test for QA time.
And
am going to take a small quote from Brenlo to another class. "So many of you think that class balance is just a magic wand wave away. It's not. We have to attempt to maintain each classes uniqueness while moving the class forward."Right now it will be more beneficial to the entire community of EverQuest to work on things that are already implemented in the game that are broken then go back afterwards to address specific class issues that each class wants to be changed about their class. Yes it means that knights will have to wait for their class issues to be considered but so does every other class.

haha they do this after every expansion. its just an excuse to keep people playing by going HEY we're going to fix this! and then the next expansion rolls out, and they say they are going to fix something with that. it never changes. basically they draw you out to keep draining your money.
