I know I have seen someone post a fix to make EQW work more effecitvely and not be such a huge resource hog.. anyone have that ?

It's not EQW that eats the memory, but EQ itself. EQW uses next to no system resources.

eq play nice rules.
but for some reason on my laptop it lags the f**k outa me. i'll be running at like slow mode...then all the sudden it kicks in and im running fast...then i'll go to slow mode again and never leave...

Do you have to load the EQPNP everytime you want to play EQ for it to work?

its not integrated into mq2. it uses some of the same coding, but mq2 isnt eqpn. it does nothing but make my laptop run like shit with mq2, and if you load both eq crashes.

Hehe, people used to hide the fact that they use showEQ no matter what. Now they practically brag about it :p.
