I have it but my single vid card has 2 video out ports. It pretty much worked right from the start when I plugged the second monitor in. I just had to fiddle around with the settings to get it behaving right.

Or you could spend $300 for a second computer to run with your 2nd monitor and run 4 toons.

Aye, my video card has two spots for two monitors..set itself up when we plugged it in. Wouldn't having 2 video cards cause a hardware/software conflict? It's not like one would be the "Slave" like a HD or a CD rom...would it?

Also, I just reduce the screens and run two toon side my sade(monitor died). I need to turn almost all the graphics off but it works.

You may be right cause I can't get my second Vid card to install .. but I thought it was driver issues since I dont have the original driver disks for it and I can't seem to find an XP driver for it... Sad I might have to do what Rennol suggested and buy a cheap box for my bot macheen...

Thx

If you are running Windows 2000 or later you can put 2+ video cards into your PC no worries.
What brand of card is your second card Abi? What happens when you plug it in?

Go into Display Properties|Settings and check to see if you have 2 boxes - click on the one with the 2 on it and check Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor. Then set your resolutions and refresh rate the same if you dont want headaches

I have never tired what you want to do with EQW though - I use multiple PCs.

If you are running pre Windows 2000 I cant help you sorry

First do what Holomir said and see if it has the extra box listed.

However, I don't believe you will actually be able to put an EQW window onto the 2nd monitor while using a 2nd video card.

I'm pretty sure that when you are running 2 video cards, that only 1 can be running 3d applications at a time, and if you were to move an EQW window over to the 2nd monitor it would in fact need to be running off of the 2nd card so-to-speak, which wouldn't work.

It would work with 1 video card that supports 2 monitors on it, but not 2 I don't think.

Now, even if it does work, its going to be incredibly slow most likely. One of the reasons EQW works is that it since it isn't displaying everything that is happening on the 2nd window, it doesn't need to have a high CPU priority. If you get it running that way, I'm not sure how the 2 displays are going to actually work. Would be a heck of a load on your CPU and video cards anyhow. Especially since the 2nd video card would have to be a PCI video card, in which case it wouldn't be all that powerful I don't imagine.
