Hi all! Being an ex EQ, and EQ2 player have been trying some other games but none of them suits my preferences. L2 is ok, but too much brutal pvp, I didnt like that. Vanguard is interesting, but it still seems like it isnt quite finished. My question is: how much did EQ2 change since last year? Is it worth playing at least as it was then?

Hello! EQ2 is developing pretty good, there were some improvements and some expansion packs introduced, one new race and a few areas. You should go and try to download Echoes of Faydwer expansion pack because there is free trial of 7 days. This can help you decide whether it is worth to come back to EQ2.
